Undeniably, Canada has continued to be one of the preferred destinations for international students, workers and immigrants who simply want to call it home. Fortunately, or unfortunately, it is the alternative to American dream. This thinking has increasingly been changing. It could probably be because outsiders are not able to distinguish Canada from the US. Simply put, it is ignorance. Interestingly Canada’s immigration system encourages economic growth and multiculturalism, which is an intrinsic part of Canadian society. Most Canadians are likely to think immigration essential to Canada’s economic prosperity and overall growth. The thinking here is far from ‘outsiders coming and taking our jobs away’. With around 37 million in population, Canada is all geared to increase that number. There are several reasons that may contribute to the growing population. Let us look at few of the classic ones:
